Abstract: Protein is the basic content and difficult point of biochemistry, and it is also the opening chapter of biochemistry. Grasping this chapter not only lays a solid foundation for learning enzymes and material metabolism later, but also plays a key role in stimulating students′ interest in learning biochemistry. The flexible application of teaching methods will have a direct effect on the teaching effect of this chapter. According to the characteristics and contents of the chapter of protein, the paper introduced the application of four teaching methods in the process of protein teaching, such as problem guidance, mind map, frontier dynamics and thematic discussion, in order to provide the strategy of improving the teaching quality of biochemistry.
