Construction of O-KEPT teaching mode and the practice in biochemistry course teaching

Abstract: The teaching process should aim at the professionalism, the inclusiveness in the teaching process, orderliness of teaching organization and the effectiveness of the teaching, which is required to adopt the educational concept and teaching method based on “student-centered” style. Combined with the exploration and practice of blended teaching of biochemistry course in university under the background of “New Agricultural Sciences”, this study constructed the O-KEPT teaching mode, and expounded the connotation and requirements of the O-KEPT teaching mode. This paper also elaborated on the teaching design, practical process, evaluation methods, teaching effectiveness, and universality under the guidance of the O-KEPT teaching mode combined with the teaching of biochemistry course. It attempted to provide reference for practicing effective teaching, exploring teaching innovation and building first-class courses.
