Exploration and thinking of teaching innovation of general genetics course in the context of new agricultural science

Abstract: In order to solve the common problems such as “lagging teaching idea, outdated teaching content, rigescent teaching model, single assessment method and weak curriculum ideology and politics” during the teaching process, the team has continuously explored teaching innovation and proposed a series of targeted solutions such as transforming teaching concept to promote curriculum reform, reconstructing the teaching content to achieve interdisciplinary knowledge system integration, innovating teaching methods to make scientific research to bring forth teaching, optimizing assessment methods to pay more attention to the cultivation of professional ability and quality and excavating ideological and political resources to achieve the cultivation of emotion, attitude and value, which would help students to lay a foundation for further professional courses. The series of teaching innovations aimed to cultivate more high-quality agricultural talents to meet the requirements of well-round education.
