Abstract: In response to the strategic demands of the “Double First-Class” Initiative, Healthy China and Green China, the Bioscience Major of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) has been exploring and implementing a “new model for the construction of full English-medium majors with research feedback to teaching as the core grasp” since 2017. With the development of an international curriculum system centered on research feedback to teaching and the integration of scientific research into teaching as a key approach, the team has built a research-oriented international faculty structure consisting of permanent and visiting members. By means of honors courses, case studies and small-class teaching, the latest scientific research achievements and frontier advances are fully integrated into all links of teaching, it focuses on cultivating international talents and enhancing students’ academic innovation ability. Many years of practice have shown that research feedback to teaching runs through the whole process of program construction; this model has significantly strengthened students’ professional identity, scientific research innovation ability and international competitiveness, providing valuable experience for the internationalization of biology-related majors. This study offers a replicable research-feedback-based practical paradigm for the internationalization of teaching in domestic science majors.
