Abstract: n order to adapt with the needs of cultivating innovative talents and improve the shortcomings of traditional entomology experiment course in the implementation process, teaching reform of entomology experiment for plant protection specialty was carried out. A multi-level experimental teaching system of entomology was constructed by adjusting and optimizing teaching content; student-centered experimental teaching mode was established by enriching teaching methods and improve teaching modes; the experimental teaching conditions were improved by strengthening the construction of insect specimens and hardware and optimizing laboratory management; the evaluation system of experimental teaching of entomology was also improved through establishing diversified assessment methods. The reforms have achieved good results in improving the quality of experimental teaching, mobilizing students' learning enthusiasm and improving their practical ability and innovation ability.
