Teaching practice of molecular biology in a mode of scientific story-directed

摘要: 以“中心法则”为主线,把分子生物学教学内容构架为 “中心法则”与生物大分子结构功能,DNA复制与损伤修复和转座,转录调控,翻译调控,分子操作与合成生物学5个模块。实践了以科学史引导的分子生物学教学模式,即通过讲述分子生物学重要事件的来龙去脉来阐述分子生物学基本理论。科学史引导的教学模式提升课程趣味性,使学生轻松地学习基本理论,启发学生掌握每个理论背后的科学思想和逻辑推理,有助于创新能力培养。

Abstract: Using "the central dogma" as a main stream, five domains of structure and function of DNA, RNA and protein, DNA replication, damage repair and transposition, transcription control, translation regulation, synthetic biology and molecular operation are designed for teaching of molecular biology. A scientific-story-directed teaching mode where the theories can be discussed through telling stories behind the discoveries has been practiced. The story-directed teaching mode is found to be good for students to learn the biological theories and methods in an interesting and easy way, to understand the logic and reasoning behind the theories as well.
