 Application and exploration of case-based study inanimal product processing teaching

Abstract: In order to improve the teaching quality of animal product processing, case-based study was used to reform the course. According to the objectives of different chapters, two types of case-based study: discuss and practice were designed, and their implementation processes (case selection, analysis and discussion, summary and evaluation by teacher) were analyzed. The results showed that case-based study in animal product processing could not only improve students′ enthusiasm and initiative in learning, but also improve their abilities of expression, problem analysis and problem solving, and teamwork, in addition to the improvement of teachers′ own professional ability.
