Abstract: The technique of molecular biology is an important means in molecular biology research. Therefore, molecular biology experiment teaching is as important as theoretical teaching for undergraduate in higher education. In view of the students learning initiative and enthusiasm was very low, this paper focused on reforming teaching modes, optimizing the experiment teaching content and exploring the student assessment method in molecular biology experimental teaching for undergraduate. It showed that students′ experimental skills were strengthened after practice. Meanwhile, the quality of molecular biology experiment teaching was improved to a certain extent and further fostered undergraduates’ comprehensive abilities of analyzing and solving problems.
