Abstract: In the experimental teaching in the separation of main unsaturated fatty acids from rapeseed by reversed-phase paper chromatography, the fatty acid chromatogram often appears various problems due to a variety of factors. Through a lot of experiments and continuous optimization of experimental conditions, the experimental teaching effect of the separation of main unsaturated fatty acids by the reversed-phase paper chromatography was improved. The experience of fatty acid chromatography was summarized. Meanwhile, the common problems were analyzed and the corresponding solutions were putted forward. These can guide the experimental teaching of fatty acid chromatography.
