Abstract:  General zoology is a wide range of basic subjects, and it has important role in professional education for biological major. In order to adapt to the cultivation needs for biological major, authors attempted to do some reforms including teaching content, teaching methods, practical teaching and test mode in general zoology teaching, to promote the innovation abilities of students.
