Abstract:

In this study, we investigated the community structure of rotifers and environmental factors in the upper Shengjin Lake from February to July of 2014.A total of 18 genera and 32 species of rotifers were identified during the survey, and the dominant species were Brachionus angularis, Asplanchna priodonta, Polyarthra trigla, and Schizocerca diversicornis. It ranged from 0.28μg/L to 30.39μg/L .The minimum and maximum of density of rotifers recorded in winter and autumn, respectively. From the result of Pearson correlations and canonical correspondence analysis, environmental factors such as water temperature, dissolved oxygen and
pH that had a considerable effect on the rotifer community structure in the Shengjin Lake.
