In this paper the biological sciences were used as an example. 11 domestic universities and 3 British universities such as Oxford university, York university and Sheffield university were investigated. The differences in the biological sciences curriculum were contrasted. The existing problems in the course of our colleges were pointed out and some suggestions were put forward for improvement, in order to benefit the development of our higher education.
