Abstract: The cornus iridoid glycosides ( CIG ) were extracted and detected, and the influence of CIG to vascular endothelial cell was studied. The cornus was extracted by ultrasonic and treated with D101 macroporous resin to remove the impurities such as pigment and sugar, and the extraction was compared with four standards using HPLC-MS. The effects of CIG on mouse vascular endothelial cell proliferation, cell morphology and cell apoptosis were studied. The results showed that, 0. 5-50 μg/ mL CIG could promote the vascular endothelial cell proliferation and inhibit cell atrophy and apoptosis caused by high glucose.Cell damage and apoptosis were important for thrombosis. Cornus as the medicine and food could reduce the risk of thrombosis.
