Abstract: In order to improve the teaching effect, the traditional field practice mode should be reformed. Applying two App to the plant classification, a reform attempt was made to improve the practice effectiveness. With the student questionnaire and mathematical statistics methods, the study compared the traditional field practice with a new field practice pattern among students from biology major of 2016 grade in Nanchang University. The results showed that the teaching effect of the experimental group excelled that of the control group. The new field practice mode can enhance the students’ confidence and self-learning ability in plant classification.
