Abstract: At present, college students have become one of the groups to use smartphones with the highest frequency and the longest time. The negative effect of smartphones on college classroom teaching has also received widespread attention. However, with the help of massive resources in network, smartphones can also become powerful assistant of teachers, pilot students′ autonomic learning and improve learning effect effectively. This article will analyze the use of smartphone in establishment of E-learning platform, aids of classroom teaching and evaluation of teaching effect, summarize the mode and advantages of smartphone application in biology teaching in colleges, so as to provide references for the majority of college biological teachers.
