Abstract:  As the planting area of the global genetically modified crops has bear increasing rapidly and the commercialized process is accelerated, people have paid more attention to the safety of genetically modified plants and derived products. The supervision of genetically modified plants and derived products has been paid more attention by many countries and areas. The accurate, efficient, and inexpensive detection methods of genetically modified components are the important technical support for supervision and labeling of genetically modified food and feed. Multiplex polymerase chain reaction (Multiple PCR) technology has captured the attention of more and more researchers and has been popularized and applicated in many kinds of industries because of its low cost, high flux, better specificity, saving the experimental samples and medicine. This paper showes the latest research progress on multiple PCR detection method combined with other technology and the application to different detect requirement of genetically modified ingredients. The paper also gives further strategies for improving Multiple PCR detection methods of genetically modified components.
