Abstract: The human intestinal is dominated by hundreds of different species of bacteria. It is important for maintaining human health.Intestinal microbial community dysbiosis is related to obesity,diabetes and pulmonary diseases. In recent yeas, more and more studies on intestinal microbiota and pulmonary diseases are reported. Research indicates that respiratory disease is usually accompanied by a bowel syndrome, and vice versa. In addition, respiratory diseases such as allergic asthma and pneumonia seriously affect human health. Intestinal microbiota on host immune regulation and the role of metabolites are crucial for the treatment of lung disease. In this paper, we summarized approaches of intestinal microbiota as targets for prevention and treatment of pulmonary diseases, aimed at providing new ideas for the future prevention and treatment of lung diseases.
