Abstract: The aim of this study is to imestigate the community structure of Lindera obtusiloba completely for the first time, and the result showed that the community was of a clear vertical structure, including 300 species, belonging to 213 genera and 89 families in total. It was composed of arbor layer, shrub layer and herb layer, in which the importance value of Fagaceae, Lindera obtusiloba and Oplismenus undulatifolius was the largest, respectiuely. The rank distribution of Raunkiaer frequency was A>B>C>D>E. Among all layers of the community, Margalef richiness indexes were herb layer>shrub layer>arbor layer, Simpson and Shannon-Wiener indexes were herb layer>arbor layer>shrub layer, and Pielou evenness indexes were arbor layer>herb layer>shrub layer. The floristic composition shows a transition from tropic to sub-tropic and temperate.
