Preliminary exploration on teaching of progress  course “Frontier in Biology" in forestry universities

Abstract:

"Frontier in Biology" is an undergraduate course with the goal of opening students′ sights and shaping their innovative ability of research preliminarily. This course can be helpful for undergraduate to understand the main fields and developmental directions of biological frontier. Education methods were explored on teaching contents, education style, and assessment, and undergraduate teaching system of biological progress course was formed preliminarily with forestry universities characteristics.
