Exploration for effective teaching methods in genetics experiment

摘要: 遗传学是生命科学、医学、农学等相关领域的核心课程,是一门理论与实践相结合的课程,遗传学实验是遗传学课程学习的重要组成部分。针对目前遗传学实验教学所面临的学时压缩和课堂讲解时间受限、教学方式和内容较为落后等问题,结合多年的教学经验和实验条件,对遗传学实验教学进行了一些改革,引入了比较教学法、翻转课堂教学法,开设学生自主实验和开放遗传学实验室,并建立数码显微镜-体视镜一体互动系统用于实验教学,来提高遗传学实验的教学质量,培养学生的综合实验能力和科研能力。

Abstract: Genetics is a core curriculum in life science, medicine, agronomy and some related fields. Genetics experiment is very important in genetics curriculum learning. At present, the problem of our genetics experimental teaching is time compression. The teaching method is also outmoded and behind course content. In order to solve these questions, we take comparative teaching method and flipped class model in genetics experiment teaching. Students can also design and do experiments in the open laboratory of genetics. Digital microscope and stereoscope are also used in the experimental teaching to improve the quality of genetics experiment.
