Abstract:

In order to investigate the biological function of encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) capsid protein VP1, VP2 and VP3 in virus infection. Capsid proteins were constructed as baits to screen the cDNA library of BHK-21 cells by Dual hunter yeast two-hybrid system. 24 proteins have been identified to interact with EMCV proteins. Through bioinformatics analysis, it was found that its functions include binding, catalytic activity, transporter activity and structural molecule activity. They were involved in a series of biological processes, such as biological regulation, cellular component organization or biogenesis, metabolic process, developmental process, localization and response to stimulus. The possible roles of these proteins in viral replication were analyzed with reference to literatures, which may provide reference for further study of EMCV infection.
