Abstract: An experiment teaching case on fish dissection was designed. During the teaching, themes were set, the combination of confirmatory and exploratory method was used, which aimed to enable students to study the knowledge again and to explore the similarities and differences among different fishes independently further. Then their enthusiasm of learning would be aroused, their abilities on experiment operation, data acquisition and analysis, language, communication and coordination would be cultivated, and so on. The result showed that a good teaching effect has been obtained in this teaching case with the use of the two experiment methods together.
