Abstract: This study aimed to explore the species diversity and species identification characteristics of the genus Lecanora in Anhui Province. The taxonomic study based on phylogeny, morphology and chemistry for 208 Lecanora specimens collected from the province was carried out. Six species, Lecanora glabrata （Ach.） Nyl., L. symmicta （Ach.） Ach., L. fulvastra Kremp., L. pseudargentata Lumbsch, L. layana Lendemer and L. baekdudaeganensis B. G. Lee & Hur were newly recorded in Anhui Province. The detailed descriptions of the six species and a key to Lecanora in the province were provided. The results showed that the species diversity of Lecanora in Anhui Province is high, and this genus is one of the dominant genera in this region.
