Abstract: During the field in 2022-2023, three species of Compositae, which had not been reported in Xinjiang, were discovered, and identified them as newly recorded species and exotic noxious weeds in Xinjiang by morphological classification and literature verification. They wereBidens parvifloraWilld.,Bidens bipinnataL. andSymphyotrichum subulatum(Michx.) G. L. Nesom. In this study, the morphological characteristics, geographic distribution and dispersal characteristics of these newly recorded species in Xinjiang were described. The discovery of the new distribution provided a new basis for the study of Compositae Flora and species diversity and the monitoring and control of exotic harmful weeds in Xinjiang. The voucher specimens are deposited at the Herbarium of Shihezi University (SHI).
