Abstract

Abstract: Caulokaempferia K. Larsen, a newly recorded genus of Zingiberaceae from Yunnan, China is reported. This genus owns with only one species of Caulokaempferia coenobialis in China which is recorded as an endemic to South China and is distributed in Guangdong and Guangxi. The new geographical distribution of this genus (species) has a great significance to the protection and use of resources, and it is also important to the flora study in Yunnan, China.
