Research progress on biological waste improving saline-alkali land

Abstract: Saline soil is a special type of a class of land resources, and the improvement of saline soil has double benefit to the protection of the ecological environment and the development of rural economy. Saline soil can be improved by using all kinds biological waste. In these biological waste,the content of organic matter and nutrients N/P/K was very rich. When using this improvement method, the costs were lower and the improvement effect was ensured. Straw, biogas residue, biogas, sludge and other biological waste can be applied in the saline soil improvement. This paper mainly summarized research progress on saline soil improvement of using these three types of biological waste.
