Abstract: At present, there are problems in the teaching of food microbiology courses, such as a large amount of theoretical knowledge in textbooks and vague application scenarios for experimental operations. A two-year exploration of innovative teaching course aiming to enhance students’ application practice and innovation ability, and to integrate labor education practice was conducted. Through the transformation of teaching scenarios and innovation of teaching content, breakthroughs in teaching achievements were achieved. And on this basis, in order to further strengthen the integration of knowledge modules in curriculum teaching, the design of the labor education practice driven curriculum system reform was explored for highlighting the applicability of curriculum learning, enhance the innovation of talent cultivation, and providing reference and guidance for the reform of teaching models in other engineering courses.
