Research advance in gonadotropins gene in fish

摘要: 促性腺激素在鱼类性成熟及排卵过程中起着至关重要的作用,而对于鱼类促性腺激素的种类的争论也在1975年之后逐渐平息。普遍认为,鱼类的两种促性腺激素亚基GtHI和GtHII,其生化结构与生物学特征与哺乳动物的促卵泡激素(FSH)和促黄体生成素(LH)亚基相类似。随着分子生物学的逐渐发展,对促性腺激素的研究也越来越深入。综述了促性腺激素的基础生物学研究概况,包括其生化结构、生理功能以及调控机制等,同时总结了目前硬骨鱼类促性腺激素基因克隆现状,以及鱼类促性腺激素的定量分析和重组表达,为鱼类的繁育生理研究工作提供方便,为进一步探究促性腺激素的作用机理奠定基础。

Abstract: Gonadotropin plays an important role in the sexual maturation and ovulation of fishes. The controversy about the types of fish gonadotropins has come to an end after 1975. It is generally believed that there are two kinds of gonadotropin subunits, GTHI and GTHII, whose biochemical structure and biological characteristics are similar to those of the FSH and LH in the mammalian. Along with the gradual development of molecular biology, research on gonadotropin has been accrurd over the years. In this paper, authors first review the literature on the biological basis, including biochemical structure, physiological function and regulation mechanism and so on. The current research of molecular cloning of gonadotropins of teleost, the quantitative analysis and recombinant expression of gonadotropins in fishes were summarized. The purpose of this paper is to provide a valuable reference for the study on the physiology of aquaculture and to lay the foundation for further research on the mechanism of gonadotropins.
