Abstract: The rapid development of mobile internet technology and the popularity of campus wireless network provide opportunities to improve teaching mode. Based on the mobile internet platform, the innovative teaching mode (ITM) is explored, and it is important to improve teaching effectiveness. The "computational aided drug design" course is taken as an example in this paper. The learning app designed by Chaoxing company and general network course platform of Huaibei normal university are utilized throughout our teaching process. The curriculum resources are constructed through integrating traditional multimedia slides with the latest progress of scientific reports, and then upload them to share in the cloud storage of learning APP. The students can download them in their mobile client and conveniently study online and offline. The implementation of classroom teaching process is not traditional single teacher explanation model. The innovative teaching model based on the mobile internet platform could perfectly solve the difficulty of student preview before class. In class, the discussion of difficult problem and the analysis of classic case can be paid more attention to enhance the absorption of key section. After the class, the students can devote to their operation of practice and training. The design, implementation and assessment of this teaching mode can effectively promote the students' absorption and comprehensively applied ability, achieving the requirements for talent cultivation programs.
