Abstract: Currently, researchers apply mouse as the ideal model for human disease researches. Many, if not most of the research fruits, however, cannot be transferred to human clinical application due to huge species differences. On the other hand, ethic issues and difficulties on obtaining human materials barrier the way of doing direct research on human. These obstacles put non-human primates, which resembles with human the most, as a better model species than mouse for understanding human.
