Abstract: From October 2014 to September 2015, we surveyed birds using the line transect and point-count methods in Jiaogang Lake National Wetland Park in Huainan, Anhui Province, and the avain diversity and seasonal dynamics were analyzed and reasearched. A total of 96 bird species were recorded, belonging to 15 orders and 37 families, of which 41 (42.7%) were resident birds, 25(26.0%) winter migrant species, 21 (21.9%) summer migratory birds and 9(9.4%) transient birds. Avifauna mainly consisted of Palaearctic species and Oriental species, but widely distributed species were also observed. The Shannon-Wiener index was the highest(1.99) in preserve area but the lowest(1.27) in sightseeing area, and annual diversity is summer>spring>autumn>winter. And the similarity coefficient of bird communities was the lowest between preserve area and sightseeing area(0.427), but the highest between preserve area and sightseeing area(0.726). Moreover, some suggestions for the following construction and management style were provided.

Key words: wetland park, avian diversity, seasonal dynamic
