Abstract: In the present study, it was first successful using of adipose tissue making method of flow in Tupaia belangeri, and the flow cytometry was also firstly used to compare and analyze fat cells under cold acclimation. The results showed that 5.70% of white adipose tissue (WAT) in abdominal omental and groin had single R1 group and showed positive UCP1 on 28 d of cold acclimation. New cell population R2 group appeared in WAT in the 49th day, including 69.64% the cells in R1 group of showing positive for UCP1. 95.28% of the cells in R2 had showing positive for UCP1. Cold acclimation makes UCP1 expression positive cell population in WAT. All of the results suggested that cold acclimation not only made the brown adipose tissue hyperplasia, the production of thermal activity increased, but also induced the beige fat cells appeared in WAT.
