Abstract: The viability of Pinus dabeshanensis seeds was measured by the method of TTC. The resrults showed that 0.1% TTC was an appropriate concentration for dyeing, and after dyed for 3 h, the viability percentages of full seeds were 100%. In addition, lower temperature was appropriate for the preservation of seed viability，which was 100% until preserved for 12 months.
