Abstract: The survey on the vascular plants in Shengjin Lake National Nature Reserve was done form August 2014 to June 2015. The community types were divided in to 6 vegetation types, 12 vegetation subtypes and 32 formations. The main community types were Ass. Pinus massoniana, Ass. Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Ass. Quercus acutissima + Liquidambar formosana, Ass.Ilex cornuta, Ass. Lindera glauca, Ass.Zizania caduciflora, Ass. Carex thunbergii, Ass. Trapa maximowiczii, and so on. Ass.Carex thunbergii was the advantage association of coastal tidal flats, the number, height, coverage, biomass of Carex thunbergii in different water depth were obviously different. Through analyzing the correlation between number, height, coverage, biomass of Carex thunbergii change with depth, it showed that the coverage and the biomass were highly significant correlation with the depth (P<0.001) and the number was significant correlation with the depth (P<0.05), but the height was not significant correlation with depth (P>0.05). There were 510 vascular plant species belonging to 335 genera in 125 families. 125 families were divided into 14 distribution types, and 335 genera were divided into 22 distribution types. The main distribution types were Cosmopolitan, Pantropic and North Temperate.
