xploration and practice of genetic engineering experiment teaching based on the combination of virtual and practical operation

摘要: 借助省级生物工程虚拟仿真实验室,以功能基因的分子克隆与体外表达实验为例,通过虚实结合开展基因工程实验教学。以过程与结果相结合,虚拟与现实相补充,教师评价与线上线下系统自评并用的原则,构建虚拟实验与真实实验相结合的考核评价方式,并实践虚实结合的教学与评价。通过对比学生实验报告和测试成绩的方式检验该教学模式的优势,结合调查授课对象对该教学模式的满意度,发现其优势具体表现为拓展时空,提高学生学习成效;整合资源,培养学生信息素养;以生为本,锻炼自主学习能力;多元评价,实现以评促学目的。

Abstract: Based on the provincial bioengineering virtual simulation laboratory (VSL), we took molecular cloning and in vitro expression experiment of functional genes as an example to carry out the genetic engineering experiment teaching. An assessment and evaluation method combining virtual experiment with real experiment was constructed and practiced based on the principles of combining process with result and teacher evaluation with online and offline self-evaluation. The advantages of virtuality and reality combination in the gene engineering experiment teaching were assessed by comparing the students’ virtual operation and test score and investigating their satisfaction with this teaching mode. It was mainly embodied in the following four aspects: expanding the time and space of experimental learning and improving students’ learning effect; realizing the sharing of virtual and real resources and cultivating students’ information literacy; student-centered teaching and strengthening the ability of independent learning; diversified evaluation to achieve the purpose of promoting leaning by evaluation.
