The research progress of curcumin antitumor mechanism

摘要: 寻求一类低毒、高效的天然药物来提高癌症病人的生命质量一直是医学领域的研究热点。姜黄素(curcumin)作为一类植物源单体,有抗癌范围广、药理效应高、毒副作用低等优点,大量实验已证实姜黄素可以治疗癌症、控制感染、延缓衰老等。从4个方面概述姜黄素的抗肿瘤机制,希望为姜黄素在抗癌治疗中提供参考。

Abstract: To look for a kind of natural medicines which characterized of safety, low toxicity and efficient to improve patient′s life quality has been a hotspot of research on domestic and foreign scholars. Curcumin is a monomer which extracted from traditional Chinese medicine, such as turmeric, rhizoma zedoariae, radix curcumae. A number of studies have confirmed that curcumin has the function of anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and other biological activities. Curcumin has a good development prospect. The advantages of curcumin are large ranges of anticancer; a wide range of pharmacological effects; little side-effects and so on. This article summarizes the anti-tumor mechanism of curcumin and hope to provide references for the clinical application.
