Variation patterns of leaf pigments of an evergreen garden  plant Cinnamomum camphora in urban area

摘要:

为探讨季节、生境及树冠方位对城市常绿园林植物叶片色素特征的影响,以安庆市7个不同生境的香樟为研究对象,分别在夏季(7月)和冬季(12月)采集树冠南北两侧叶片样品,测定叶绿素a、叶绿素b和类胡萝卜素含量。三因素方差分析表明,季节对香樟叶片色素含量影响最大,其次是生境,而树冠方位及其交互作用影响微弱。冬季叶片色素含量及叶绿素a/b均显著低于夏季,但各色素指标在生境间的变化无明显规律。相关性分析表明,土壤全量氮、磷及速效氮、磷含量对冬季香樟叶片色素含量有显著影响,但土壤理化特性对夏季叶片色素含量影响不明显。总之,城市不同生境(由土壤异质性表征)对香樟叶片色素的影响作用因季节不同而呈现不同效应。

Abstract:

To discuss the effects of season, habitat and canopy orientation on leaf pigments of evergreen garden plants in urban area, the garden plant Cinnamomum camphora was chosen as the target in seven habitats in Anqing City, Anhui Province, the leaf samples in both south and north sides of plant canopies in summer and winter respectively in 2016, and then the leaf chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and carotenoid contents were determined. The three-way ANOVA indicated that season showed largest impact on leaf pigment contents, following by habitat, whereas the canopy orientation and its interaction with other factors represented weak impact. The leaf pigment contents and chlorophyll a/b in winter both showed lower values than that in summer, while leaf pigment indices varied in habitats, indicating non-obvious regularity. The correlation analysis presented that soil total nitrogen and phosphorus, and available nitrogen and phosphorus showed significant effect on leaf pigment in winter, but the soil factors had no obvious impact on leaf pigment in summer. The influences of habitat on leaf pigments of C. camphora presented different effects varied with seasons.
