Changes of the contents of cell biology and its effects on teaching under new situation

摘要:  细胞生物学是本科高等院校生命科学各专业一门重要的基础课程。近年来,随着分子生物学及其相关技术的快速发展,细胞生物学课程的内容出现了量与质的飞跃,体现在分子机制内容的增加及信号通路内容的扩展等方面。基于以上背景,主要从内因与外因两个方面探讨了这种变化对高校细胞生物学教学产生的影响。其中,教师加快知识体系的更新以及提高自身的专业素养属于内因,对教学产生决定性的影响;此外,多种教学辅助手段的运用及作业类型的多样化设计等属于外因,对教学效果的提高也起着重要的推动作用。

Abstract:  Cell biology is a fundamental course of life science in university. With the recent rapid development of the theories in molecular biology and related technologies, the contents of cell biology have increased dramatically, such as the molecular mechanism and signaling pathways etc. This paper primarily dissected both the intrinsic and extrinsic influences on the cell biology teaching. The intrinsic means containing teachers accelerating the renewal of the knowledge system and improving their professionalism level are decisive for elevating the teaching effectiveness. Furthermore, the extrinsic measures including the utilization of a variety of teaching aids and the design of multiple types of homework and so on, which also play an important role in promoting teaching effectiveness.
