海水盐度对美洲帘蛤稚贝生长和存活率的影响

Effects of salinity on the growth and survival rates of juvenile Mercenaria mercenaria (Linnaeus, 1758)

摘要: 模拟贝类人工育苗过程中的培养方法,研究了海水盐度对两种不同规格美洲帘蛤稚贝生长与成活的影响。结果表明,两种不同规格美洲帘蛤稚贝最适生长及成活的海水盐度都为27.8,盐度低于14.4时稚贝在48 h内出现不同程度的死亡,盐度为14.4~27.8时,稚贝成活率与生长率随盐度升高而增长,盐度为27.8~35.9时,其成活率和生长率随盐度升高而降低。较大规格美洲帘蛤稚贝对海水盐度变化的耐受能力要比较小规格的强,我国南方沿海地区更适合美洲帘蛤稚贝的人工育苗生产而北方更适合成贝的养殖。

Abstract: The effects of salinity on the growth and survival of juvenile Mercenaria mercenaria of two different sizes were studied by employing indoor culture method. The results showed that the most suitable growth and survival salinity was about 27.8 for juveniles of two different sizes. Juveniles would die within 48 h when the salinity was lower than 14.4. The survival rate (SR) and growth rate (GR) of juveniles increased along with the salinity from 14.4 to 27.8, but decreased when the salinity increased from 27.8 to 35.9. There was stronger resistance to salinity for the juvenile M. mercenaria of larger sizes when compared with the smaller ones. In conclusion, artificial culture of the juvenile M. mercenaria is more suitable in the south coast of China, and adult culture is more suitable in the north coast areas.
