Research on the teaching reform of interdisciplinary microbiology in engineering colleges

摘要: 近年来由于微生物学的重要性日益凸显,传统的微生物学实验教学方法和内容存在着许多不足,尤其是针对应用为主的工科院校生物类专业学生。因此,以现有微生物学实验课程中综合实验为基础,全面改革了土壤微生物系统进化综合大实验,从实验教学内容(微生物学、分子生物学、生物信息学、计算机程序设计、大数据库使用等多学科交叉)、实验教学理念(教师指导下,科研级别要求的自主实验方案设计),实验教学考核机制(实验操作、实验结果、开题报告、结题答辩、研究报告、实验报告考核多维度考核机制)等方面进行了改革和探索。改革结果显示新的实验教学模式更有利于培养学生的动手能力、工程思维能力、创新能力以及综合能力,其教学效果显著提高。

Abstract: In recent years, because of the microbiology are growing important, however, the traditional microbiology experiment still has many shortages, especially for some students who are in engineering college and university. The experiment of soil microbial system evolution was taken as an example. The reform and exploration were carried out from the aspects of experimental teaching content(microbiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, computer programming, large database use, etc), experimental teaching concept(under the guidance of teachers, the design of independent experimental scheme of scientific research level requirements) and experimental teaching assessment mechanism(experimental operation, experimental results, opening report, thesis defense, research report, test report and assessment mechanism). The results showed that the new experimental teaching mode was more conducive to training students′ practical ability, innovation ability and comprehensive ability, and their teaching effects have been greatly improved.
