Research progress of TRIM in the innate immune signaling pathway

摘要: 固有免疫系统通过模式识别受体(PRRs)识别病原入侵微生物保守的病原体相关分子模式(PAMPs),通过一系列的信号转导,诱导炎性细胞因子及I型干扰素的表达。大量的研究表明泛素化在固有免疫信号通路中发挥重要作用。泛素连接酶TRIM(The tripartite motif)属于E3泛素连接酶家族,研究表明其在机体固有免疫反应中发挥重要作用。总结了TRIM家族在Toll样受体(TLRs)、RIG-I样受体(RLRs)以及DNA受体介导的固有信号通路中的功能及其相关分子调控机制,为固有免疫信号通路调控提供新的认识。

Abstract: The innate immune system recognizes pathogen-associated molecular patterns(PAMPs) through PRRs. Upon sensing of these PAMPs, these PRRs trigger a series of signaling events and lead to the subsequent induction of pro-inflammatory cytokines and type I interferons(IFNs). Ubiquitination is an important post-translational modification that plays a critical role in the innate immune signaling pathway. TRIMs belong to E3 ubiquitin ligases and are important in the innate immune system. Here the recent advances were summarized on the functions and molecular mechanisms of TRIMs in TLRs, RLRs and DNA sensors signaling pathway, and the new insights for regulation of innate immune signaling were provided.
