摘要: 生物信息学综合实验是生物信息学专业本科生的核心实践课程之一,以专业综合能力培养为导向的实践教学改革对该课程的教学提出了更高的要求。提出了基于专业综合能力培养的探究式教学实践,从专题的选择、任务实施过程和考核评价等方面进行了阐述,并以转录组分析LOC_Os05g01710基因介导的水稻细条病抗性机理的教学案例来展示该教学法的应用。学生从数据的处理、差异表达基因筛选和功能分析,以及差异表达基因参与的代谢途径等方面展开训练,综合分析LOC_Os05g01710基因与水稻细条病抗性的关系。从教学效果可以看出,探究式教学巩固了学生的生物信息学专业课程知识,促进了专业核心能力提升,提高了科研兴趣和自主学习的能力,为其他生物学专业的相关实践课程改革拓宽了思路。

Abstract: Comprehensive experiment of bioinformatics is one of the core practical courses for undergraduates majoring in bioinformatics. Aiming for fostering talents with the comprehensive ability, the current experimental teaching reformation demands significant improvements in this kind of course. To improve the professional quality of undergraduates, we proposed inquiring teaching, described the subject selection, task implementing and evaluation. Furthermore, we presented an example to show its application (transcriptome analysis of LOC_Os05g01710-mediated resistance to bacterial leaf streak in rice (Oryza sativa L.). The students performed the practice of data processing, differential expression gene screening, function and pathway analysis, and concluded the relationship between the gene and the resistance to bacterial leaf streak in rice. Learning-assessment result showed that inquiring teaching could help the students to consolidate the knowledge of bioinformatics, improve the professional quality of the students, and motivate their learning interest and ability of self-study. The present inquiring teaching can be applied to other related experiment courses of biology.
